The em | linq is best-in-class NFC Forum Type 2 and ISO/IEC 14443-A chip targeting product authentication and brand protection applications. em | linq implements an optional web authentication algorithm (also referred as One Time Password) based on HMAC /SHA-1 for state-of-the-art security. New and unique URL is generated with each tap and transmitted through NDEF message.

em|echo-V features a unique combination of RAIN RFID and NFC functionalities in a single chip. The RAIN RFID supports all logistics and inventory functions, while the NFC interface enables customer interactions and brand protections thanks to smartphone ubiquitous support.  em|echo-V implements NFC type V interface for better user experience and optional web authentication algorithm. 

The shared memory architecture enables usage of a single unique identifier and seamless access to user data from both interfaces. Manufacturing benefits come in the form of single step assembly and single step encoding from either interface.
